Taylor Shaw was established in 1933 by N E Taylor and has been providing prudent legal advice to generations of businesses and individuals ever since.
Taylor Shaw's personal service and practical advice has fostered strong client relationships and Ingrid Taylor, the third generation of Taylor in the firm's partnership, is now providing advice and guidance to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of one of her grandfather's clients.
Taylor Shaw has always been progressive. A great example of this is when Malcolm Taylor travelled to a Bar Association conference in Hawaii in the 1970's. At the conference he saw one of IBM's early computers and he realised that computers were the way of the future. This led to Taylor Shaw being one of the first law firms in Christchurch to purchase a computer - that needed its own office!
