Following on from our earlier article the Government has now made a temporary law change to modify the requirements for signing and witnessing wills.
This means we can now witness via Audio-Visual link (Zoom, Skype, Facetime etc) and so clients can create a valid will during level 4 and level 3 now without having to come into our office and without having to re-execute it after we revert back to level 2.
This change only applies to wills made while the Epidemic Notice is in force. Once the Epidemic Notice is lifted, the law will return to normal.
